Stoke Place Garden Room Restaurant. We will definitely return when visiting friends and family in the area. Their new restaurant, the king and lamb pays homage to the legendary 17th century royal chef patrick lamb who built the country house in 1690.
Our garden rooms are shortly to be fully refurbished, transforming them into very pretty private rooms set back from the main house, surrounded by the walled kitchen gardens and fruit trees; We had an amazing diner at the garden room a few days ago. Open from 10am to 11pm sunday through to thursday and 10am to 12am friday and saturday.

We chose the 6 course tasting menu and were very impressed with the quality and skill involved in each dish and the overall construction of. All staff were friendly, helpful & attentive. Stoke place is more of an adult's retreat.
